2001

The construction of the Sea Outfall of Mompás (Guipúzcoa) was in 2000 at the request of the Northern Hydrographic Confederation, to solve the problems of wastewater discharges on the coast. The execution of the project was developed by the Joint Venture formed by Dragados y Construcciones S.A., Altunia y Uria S.A and Van Oord ACZ B.V. subcontracting the excavation of the wave breaking zone by means of jacking pipe technique with closed shield tunnel boring machine AVN to the company Europea de Hincas Teledirección S.A.U - EUROHINCA.

2008

The construction of a new bottom drain at the Jarosa dam (Guadarrama, Madrid) was executed in 2008 at the request of Canal de Isabel II, to improve the operational safety of the dam and to comply with the current regulations’ recommendations. The project execution was adjudicated to Obras y Servicios Públicos S.A. (OSEPSA), subcontracting the excavation of the dam by pipe jacking with closed shield tunnel boring machine AVN to the company Europea de Hincas Teledirigidas S.A.U - EUROHINCA.

2018

The construction of a new bottom drain in the Oliana dam (Lérida) was made in 2009 at the request of the Ebro Hydrographic Confederation, to solve exploitation problems caused by accumulation of sludge and saturation of sediments at the bottom of the dam, while guaranteeing a minimum flow of relief to the course of the river or ecological flow. The project execution was developed by Obras y Servicios Públicos S.A. (OSEPSA). The drilling works by means of an AVN hydroshield tunnel boring machine and the jacking pipe was executed by the company Eurohinca.

2021

The construction of the Chtouka Desalination Plant in Agadir (Morocco) began in 2018 promoted by the National Office of Electricity and Drinking Water of Morocco (ONEE) to alleviate the water stress endured by the region and contribute to the socioeconomic development of the area, ensuring the supply of drinking water both for human consumption and for agricultural irrigation. ABENGOA, as a main contractor, subcontracted the sea outfalls excavation by means of the pipe jacking with closed shield tunnel boring machine AVN to EUROHINCA.

2015

In 2013, construction work began on the ultrafiltration plant in Ceyranbatan (Azerbaijan), with a treatment capacity of 520,000 cubic meters (m3) per day to meet the demand for drinking water in Baku, the capital and most populous city of the country. The water catchment was carried out through the execution of three feed lines (sea outfalls) in Lake Ceyranbatan executed by pipe jacking methodology. Each pipeline had a length of 455 meters and an internal diameter of 1600 mm.

2022

In mid-2020, IDE Technologies was awarded the construction of a new desalination plant, Sorek B, located in Palmahim (Israel) with a treatment capacity of 200 million cubic meters. This plant, whose water treatment is carried out by reverse osmosis, is considered the largest in Israel and one of the largest of its kind in the world.
As part of its construction, three sea outfalls, two feed lines for water catchment and one brine line for treated water discharge were executed.

2015

The project for the sea outfall execution of the WWTP of Lagares (Vigo) was tendered by ACUAES and awarded in 2013 to the UTE DRAGADOS, S.A. – DRACE INFRAESTRUCTURAS, S.A., subcontracting the construction of the land section and the submarine section by means of the pipe jacking technique with closed shield tunnel boring machine AVN to the company Cimbras y Geotecnia,  S.L. – MECANOTUBO.

2011-2012

The construction of the Desalination Plant of Moncófar (Castellón) was executed during the period 2011-2012, at the request of Aguas de las Cuencas Mediterráneas (ACUAMED) to solve the problems of drinking water supply of the populations of Moncófar, Chilches and Almenara in the province of Castellón, due to the problems derived from the water catchment from wells of salinized aquifers as a result of marine intrusion caused by their overexploitation. The construction was entrusted to the joint venture IDAM MONCOFA composed of Isolux Ingeniería, OHL-INIMA, FACSA and RENOS, with the subcontracting of the execution of the sea outfalls to the company EUROHINCA (Europea de Hincas Telemando S.A.U.).
